Darfur, apparently the 51st state

Women have been raped. Men, fathers, brothers, sons, have been killed and the US Government hasn't done anything!! Oh my GOD!!! President Bush must be shot!

After all, isn't Darfur our responsibility? Sure it is! Remember when Darfur became a state back in.. hold on a second... *looks at annoying person tapping me on the shoulder... "What??? Can't you see I'm DOING SOMETHING???? Huh? Darfur ISN'T a state? Hmmmm."*

Okay. Someone explain to me why Darfur is our problem. Why the tear-jerking commercials? Yes, I do feel bad that this is happening, but shouldn't the UNITED NATIONS step up to plate here?

I'm sorry, but when did the US become everyone's bitch? We're so terrible and stupid, we're so backwards, we can't get support from other countries against our enemies in the war on terror, but who do the countries go to when the shit goes down?? Us.

Explain this to me. Get John Kerry to explain it to me. He'll talk to me like I'm stuck in Iraq, then maybe I'll get it.
