How low can you go??

I hope everyone had a great and safe Christmas!!

I logged into my little "weather bug" thingy that comes up on my personal computer and noticed an ad at the bottom of the screen.

Hmmm... Do I feel safe with Bush as president? Gee. If I say NO, I will get free movie tickets! Well hell! I'll lie for free movie tickets!

So, I said NO and here's where it took me.

http://www.consumercreditusa.com/

Actually, no matter where you click it takes you to the same URL. I just found it funny that it appears that you get a prize if you hate Bush.

The Libs can pick this apart all they want but I know a bit about advertising. It's not what you say, it's how you say it. The visual speaks long before you read the words. So, what goes into your brain before you even get a chance to read anything is, "We will give you something if you don't trust Bush".

So, this is what the Libs are stooping to now? Well, it doesn't surprise me at all. After all, they don't have truth or fact on their side, so what else is there?

Special Christmas "CLUELESS" award goes to...

Aloha Park Elementary School!!

I know you're asking yourself how an elementary school could possibly be the lucky recipients of this week's CLUELESS award. Well, keep your shorts on! I'm gonna tell ya!

This school, this institution of fine learning for our young citizens, actually told my best friend that she needs to mold how she's raising her children to fit what the school is teaching them!

Here's an example. My friend's daughter came home and said that no matter what she does, there's a bully who is bothering her and hitting on her and such. My friend said, "Have you asked him to stop?" to which the reply was "Yes." After a series of other questions similar to the last one, my friend finally said, "Hit him back!" So, the child hit the bully back!

Well, of course my friend's daughter got in all sorts of trouble. My friend got called to the school and told that she needs to check with the school before telling her daughter how to fend off a bully!

I'm like, "Are they high?" But no.... they're

CLUELESS!!!

Hey Santa-Baby!!!

Dear Santa, it’s Lynn, and here is my list
I tried to remember, hope no one was missed!

I don’t really need anything for myself,
But there are some liberals who sure need some help!

For Barbara Streisand, here’s the perfect thing,
How ‘bout Laura Ingraham’s “Shut up and Sing”?

For John Travolta and maybe Tom Cruise,
I’m sure they don’t have this, a big box of CLUES!

For Al Franken and creepy Alan Colmes,
Let’s move them to France and give them new homes.

For Hilary Clinton, with whom I’m fed up,
Some “Shut the F*** Up” in a big Christmas cup!

For Sharpton, and Jackson and Farrakhan too,
A special place in Hell, next to the ACLU.

Now, Michael Moore will need a big sack,
To send his butt personally to the war in Iraq.

For Cindy Sheehan for this Christmas season,
A list of the soldiers who died for a reason.

For “Hanoi Jane” and Phil Donahue,
A trip to Viet Nam would be good for those two!

That’s it for my list, I hope it’s all right,
May God keep you safe on Christmas Eve, night!

Love,
Lynn

"Is this the party to who I am speaking?"

(no commentary from me today... just some very interesting reading material.)

From FOX News' Trish Turner:

WASHINGTON — Lawmakers are arguing over the legality of intercepting international communications among suspected terrorists and questioned President Bush's authority to direct the National Security Agency to monitor phone calls without a court-approved warrant.

Bush acknowledged last weekend that he authorized NSA to intercept international calls and e-mails but only those linked to Al Qaeda even if one end of the conversation is taking place in the United States and includes an American citizen.

"How do we effectively detect enemies hiding in our midst and prevent them from striking us again? We know that a two-minute phone conversation between somebody linked to Al Qaeda here and an operative overseas could lead directly to the loss of thousands of lives," Bush said during a Monday press conference.

Just before the terror attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, two of the hijackers called Afghanistan, perhaps for final instructions — exactly the kind of communication Bush said he is now determined to intercept.

Some argue that the president must get a warrant from what is known as the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court, which operates in secret. The president suggested that going through the court to get a warrant would have taken too long.

"The people responsible for helping us protect and defend came forth with the current program because it enables us to move faster and quicker," Bush said.

Congressional critics also argue that the president has taken the law into his own hands and he doesn't have the authority to order electronic intercepts of anyone in the United States without getting a search warrant.

"Where does he find in the Constitution the authority to tap the wires and the phones of American citizens without any court oversight?" asked Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

"The American public is given vague and empty assurances by the president that amount to little more than, 'Trust me. Trust me,'" said Sen. Robert Byrd , D-W. Va.

Sen. Barbara A. Mikulski , D-Md., called for the Senate Intelligence Committee, of which she is a member, to hold expedited hearings into the matter.

"The president seems to have admitted that he secretly eliminated this entire legal process. That raises very serious questions about U.S. intelligence operations and about the president's commitment to obeying the law," Mikulski said.

Late Monday, Sen. Jay Rockefeller D-W.Va., the ranking member on the Senate Intelligence Committee, said he too wants expedited hearings, including one into the leak to The New York Times which first revealed the program. He added that he thought Bush, who called the leak "shameful," was "too weak" on that matter during his press conference.

In addition, Rockefeller said he was briefed on the program when he first took his position two years ago as vice chairman of the panel. He was told at the time that the program was top secret and he was not allowed to discuss it with anyone, including his chief of staff, "not even my wife."
Rockefeller also released a letter he wrote to Vice President Cheney two years ago, expressing what he called "lingering concerns" about the program, which he said raised "profound oversight issues."

"I feel unable to fully evaluate, much less endorse, these activities," he wrote in the July 2003 letter. "As you know, I am neither a technician nor an attorney."

"The president just keeps saying 'we informed Congress,' and it's so annoying. It's phony. It's totally phony," Rockefeller said.

Former Senate Democratic leader Tom Daschle said he, too, was briefed by the White House between 2002 and 2004 but was not told key details about the scope of the program.
Daschle's successor, Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., said he received a single briefing earlier this year and that important details were withheld. "We need to investigate this program and the president's legal authority to carry it out," Reid said.

Bush argues he was authorized after Sept. 11 to use whatever force was necessary to combat the terrorists who had taken sanctuary in Afghanistan. He points to that as well as his constitutional powers to protect the nation as the basis for authorizing the intercepts.

"As president and commander in chief, I have the constitutional responsibility and the constitutional authority to protect our country. Article II of the Constitution gives me that responsibility and the authority necessary to fulfill it. And after September the 11th, the United States Congress also granted me additional authority to use military force against Al Qaeda," he said.

Decisions on what conversations to monitor are made at the Fort Meade, Md., headquarters, approved by an NSA shift supervisor and carefully recorded, said Gen. Michael Hayden, the principal deputy director of intelligence.

"The reason I emphasize that this is done at the operational level is to remove any question in your mind that this is in any way politically influenced," said Hayden, who was NSA director when the program began.

One national security lawyer said Bush does have solid constitutional authority to act.
"The highest court that's looked at these questions has said that the president has the inherent constitutional authority to use electronic surveillance to collect foreign intelligence and Congress cannot take away that constitutional authority. That's a pretty good argument," said Bryan Cunningham, a former legal adviser to the National Security Council.

Pennsylvania Republican Sen. Arlen Specter chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said he had already planned to hold hearings on this issue, and that an investigation into this program "ought to include what the chair and vice chair of intelligence ought to do in instances" where they are asked to keep secret programs that they believe violate the Constitution or U.S. law.
He and ranking Democrat on the panel, Sen. Patrick Leahy of Vermont, both said they also plan to raise the issue during the Supreme Court confirmation hearing of Samuel Alito. They want to ask the judge whether he thinks the president has the authority he claims.

Officials emphasize that warrants were not sought for any intercepts entirely within the United States, and several intelligence experts told FOX News that beyond that several circumstances exists under which the president is not obligated to obtain a warrant.
The administration is reluctant to talk about details, however. Officials call this the "most classified program in the U.S. government."

Read about a true hero

Do you ever watch Forensic Files on Court TV? I really love that show. Mostly because the narrator, Peter Thomas, speaks so clearly and precisely. That's rare lately. Anyway, I decided to send him an email via the Forensic Files web site. Here's my email.

I hope you can pass this on to Peter Thomas. It's rare, very rare that someone can speak so clearly, so precisely... you can not imagine how refreshing it is to hear someone take such care of our national language. Mr. Thomas, you are the breath of fresh air the media needs in this day and age, and I just wanted to take a moment of your time to thank you for your dedication and hard work throughout your life. I have a strong interest in forensic science, but YOU are the reason I watch the show. Finally, I don't have to ask my husband, "What did he just say?" because I can understand you. Thank you, and God bless you and your family.

Today, I got a reply!

Dear Lynn,

Thank you very much for your kind comments. It means so much to me when I receive letters from Forensic Files viewers, and I look forward to being "The Voice" of the show for years to come.

Sincerely,

Peter Thomas

So, take a moment and read about this man. It's not just his voice, but Mr. Thomas is a true American Hero.

Postal Worker has gone "Santa"!

And he's receiving disiplinary action because of it!

That's right. Your local postal worker can not wear a santa hat without getting in trouble.

Oh for goodness sakes! It's not like Larry the Mailman is walking around with a Pope hat on saying "Here's-a you mail! Take it 'cause I'm-a da freakin' Pope!"

Santa isn't a religious figure! Sure, he was sainted, but so was St. Patrick and St. Valentine! But no one seems to be willing to hand over their Lucky Charms and dig out all the hearts and clovers!

My husband has filed a formal complaint with the USPS. As soon as we hear a reply, I'll post the link to his blog so you all can read it. Or just check it out... look to your right and click on Stop Socialist Liberalism.

I'm taking a bit of a break from the blog today. Yesterday wore me out.

Have a great Friday!

indymedia.org

Folks,

I am furious.

In my last post, I told you all about the Christmas Cross. I showed you where to find the source of some of the threats, you all posted your opinions on their site, and each and every post made that even remotely leaned to Lars' side got DELETED!!

You see, this is how the pussy liberals operate. You're entitled to their opinion. They threaten violence and it's supposed to be okay, but we (as conservatives) speak our minds and it gets deleted like it never happened? WRONG ANSWER!

If anyone has a solution or even an idea how to go about changing what's happening, let me know. Right now I'm too mad to think.

Freakin' Burkenstock-wearin', whiny, sissy baby, ACLU screwin', RETARDS!!!!!

Oh my God.

For the past six weeks or so, our local talk show host, whose Right on the Left coast, Lars Larson told us that since the Christmas tree in Pioneer Courthouse Square has been renamed the "Holiday Tree", and since the Jewish community has been allowed to put up a minorah, the Christian community would put up a Cross.

Well, the news came out today that the Cross won't be put up after all. Here's why.

The liberal media has threatened to either deface, vandalize, or destroy the Holy Cross if it is put up in Pioneer Courthouse Square.

Here is one site from indymedia.org calling Lars a facist and stating that the cross is ridiculous.
http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2005/12/329839.shtml

Remember that name, folks. http://www.indymedia.org.

This is the company that has published threats to cause damage to the Holy Cross, the symbol that is the most widely shown symbol connected to the life and the man who is the Christian saviour, Jesus Christ. December 25th is known world wide as the day that Jesus Christ was born. THAT is the reason for CHRISTMAS. It's not "Gift Giving Day" or "Decorate a tree day", or "eat until you pop day", or "how I went into debt day". We are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.

Is anyone threatening the Jewish community? They have their minorah displayed, or will very soon. And I'm sure if anyone could figure out what to display for Kwaanza (sp?) that would be just dandy.

So, here's the deal. You don't like seeing the cross? Don't freakin' look at it! I see things all day long that I don't like, so I don't look at them.

I want to go downtown and stand in Pioneer Square Monday evening and sing Christmas Carols that are about Jesus and hold up a cross. And guess what? I'm not really that religious!

Merry Christmas!

But seriously folks...

Right now, I'm watching and listening to our President's speech about the war on terror.

I want to be serious for a moment, because I feel very strongly about our President and this war.

Have you ever taken the time to really listen to George W. Bush? He has a thick, strong and consisent Texas accent, we all know that. But he also chooses, and his speech writers choose their words very carefully. The President talks to us in a way that we all can understand. I know that if there are children watching this, they most likely will understand what he's saying. Bush talks to everyone.

He isn't a stupid man. The reports about him having an IQ of 91 are false. Granted, he may not be a genius, but we don't need a genius running this country. We need a man with a heart full of love for this country, and the courage to stand his ground to protect this country, and in my opinion, he's doing a damn fine job!

Bush is human. He's had his share of problems. He experienced a period in time where he had a drinking problem. He did something about it and has not had a drink in over 18 years.

Look, you don't have to like him. You don't have to agree with him. You don't even have to listen to him. But don't stand in the way of our President doing all he can to protect the country that offers you so much.

If you're reading this, I can guarantee you have a roof over your head, food in your belly and clothes on your back. You have the freedom to decide where you live, how you live, and what you believe. And if you think that has been given to you at no cost, you are very mistaken. Freedom isn't free and it never has been.

On September 11, 2001, our freedom was threatened. No one can deny that. If they try, they're idiots. Our country went on alert. We, as well as many allied nations said that we need to take the most destructive weapons away from the most destructive people. Saddam Hussein is one of those most destructive people.

Why didn't we find WMDs in his possession? Because we warned him and warned him and gave him 9 months to get rid of them!! But don't forget that each and every time we asked him to give the WMDs up, Saddam said no. What does that tell you? It tells you that he did have them and had no interest in joining our allies to ensure the safety of this country. There's a reason for that. Saddam supported and sponsored Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden. That has been proven. Well, If you want to stop the terrorist, take away his funding!

Okay, so we caught Saddam. And I'm sure a lot of people are wondering what we do now. Why are we so adamant about Iraq becoming a democracy? That's simple. You can remove the dictator, but if you leave the foundation that the dictator built, then the same type of government will be put in it's place, and they will just find another Saddam. If we tear down the foundation and help the citizens of that country be free, it's very unlikely that Iraq will allow a dictatorship ever again, and the threat is gone for everyone involved.

Most of Iraq embraces the idea of a democracy. We are not forcing this on them. We aren't telling these people that if they don't change their government, we're going to blow them off the earth. We are telling them that if the governmental foundation isn't stripped, they will be back to the way they were in no time, and we simply can't afford to let that happen, since their leader supported and sponsored the madman who attacked our country.

"Saddam could have avoided all this by complying with the just demands of the International Community. We didn't choose this war. He did." That's a direct quote from the speech this morning.

We can not pull out now. Our brave men and women fighting in the Middle East can not come home yet. Their jobs aren't done. No one was forced to go fight. Every person in our armed forces knows that they could face danger and even death by protecting our country. These fine men and women have made the decision on their own to stand up and fight for our freedom.

So, tonight when you're stuck in traffic, or irritated because a check out line is too long, or you just don't wanna be at work today, take a moment and say a prayer for our fine men and women in our military who are fighting for your right and freedom to complain. And give Bush a break. He's a strong man who truly loves this country and he's doing his best to ensure YOUR safety.

This week's CLUELESS award goes to...

*drum roll please*

Lisa Lynette Clark!!

GAINESVILLE, Ga. — A 37-year-old woman who married a 15-year-old boy was indicted by a Hall County grand jury Tuesday on charges of child molestation, statutory rape and enticing a child for indecent purposes.

Lisa Lynette Clark, who is pregnant with the teenager's child, was arrested earlier this month after their Nov. 8 wedding in neighboring Dawson County and released on bond Nov. 18 on child molestation charges.

She was scheduled to appear Wednesday before a magistrate for a preliminary hearing, but District Attorney Lee Darragh said that the indictment meant that hearing would not be held.
"The next step in the criminal process will be a formal arraignment in Superior Court," the prosecutor said. He did not indicate when that arraignment would be.

Last week, a Juvenile Court judge ruled that the teenager, who skipped school to get married, violated his probation on a previous burglary charge. The boy, identified only by his initials "A.S.G.", was ordered to remain on probation while living under the care of another relative but not his grandmother Judy Hayles, his former guardian.

Oh goodness *sniff*, you'll have to pardon me for a moment. I always cry at weddings.

Look. If you're an adult and you look at a 15 year old and think to yourself "I'm gonna marry me some o' that!", you have mental problems beyond anything Freud ever heard of.

This just blows holes in the 'half your age plus ten' rule. In case you don't know what I'm talking about, it's referring to how young of a person you should date. Half your age plus 10 years. So for me, if I were single, which I'm not... it would be 32. Not freakin' 15!

That would be so weird, wouldn't it? I can just imagine what their mornings would be like.

Lisa: Goodbye dear. Have a good day! Remember, if your late for one more class, you're gonna be suspended!! Here's your lunch money.

Ick Ick Ew Ew Ew!!!!!

Another one bites the dust...

Bye bye, Tookie! I would say it was nice knowing you, but I didn't know you and I'm sure if I did, it wouldn't be nice.

Stanley "Tookie" Williams was put to death by lethal injection shortly after midnight this morning. He was the founder of the Los Angeles Crips. He was convicted of murder some 26 years ago for killing four people.

Take a look at what this man has done. http://www.homestead.com/prosites-prs/tookiewilliamsvictims.html

Now ask yourself, "Why were celebrities like Snoop Doggy Dog and the Reverend Jesse Jackson wanting clemency for this guy?"

Is it because he claimed to have given up the "gang lifestyle"? Well DUH-UH-UH-UH!! He's was in PRISON! Kinda hard to do drive-bys from a cell in San Quentin!

Oh, and we can't forget the children's books he claimed to have written. Actually, his sister wrote them, and put his name to them. I doubt if he ever even read them.

I have a problem with this man being executed, myself.

My problem is that it took 26 years to do it! That's right! 26 years! So, the residents of California paid for him to have three hots and a cot out of their tax dollars for 26 years!

Now, multiply that by 600 or so. California has over 600 inmates on Death Row. I wonder how long it will take for them to get around to Scott Peterson.

And.... you're gonna love this part... while they are on Death Row, they are separated from the rest of the general populous of the prison. I say, stick them all in with the rest of the inmates! They won't last long. Even the nastiest of inmates don't like children killers, molesters and rapists.

Oh, and before I go, here's a word to Snoop Dog... The reason Tookie was executed and Charles Manson has not been is very simple. Charles Manson committed his crimes while capital punishment was illegal, dumbass. Would it hurt for you to take a crack smokin' break and open a book??

If you own one, learn to use it!

*sigh* People, listen to me please.

If you have a computer at home, learn how to use it before calling anyone to walk you through something that is obviously way beyond your comprehension. This post is directed solely to those who have computers that us techs only dream about, and don't have a clue how to use it.
(but if that were true, they wouldn't be able to find my blog... just work with me here)

Calling the manufacturer of the paper you're printing on because you don't know how to use a word processing program on your computer is like calling AC Delco Car Batteries because you get lost driving to the store. More than likely they could figure out where the store is, but they shouldn't have to walk you through it.

A computer is a tool. If you have no real need for that tool, why do you have it? Guess what? I don't own a chain saw and don't have any clue how to use one, and that's because I don't need one!!!

When you got your first car, did you get someone to show you how to drive, or did you buy the car, sit in it for a while, then call Ford and tell them that their car doesn't work because it's not magically take you to your destination?

It's people like you that make people like me buy guns, you know that, right?

Take the time to learn about the things you own. Computers aren't magic boxes. You need to know how to work the programs on your computer before trying to make anything happen. That's YOUR responsibility, not the responsibility of the poor tech support person who might have the misfortune to get you on the other end of the phone line.

Remember, laziness and ineptitude on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.

"It's the Republicans fault!!"

I overheard some people talking this evening about how the Republicans are only thinking about how to make the rich richer. It's the Republicans fault that our environment is deteriorating. Well, I can never back down from getting myself in awkward situations!

I leaned over and said, "The Republican party started the Environmental Protection Agency." First, there was silence. Then there was, "Yeah, so that the Republicans could profit off the deterioration of the environment!!!"

So, I calmly asked, "Until the EPA, what had the liberals done to protect and preserve the environment?" Funny thing... I didn't get an answer. Instead I heard, "That's not important. What's important is that Bush doesn't care about the environment!!" So, I asked (again, calmly) "Really? How did you come to that conclusion?" They both chimed in with "Katrina!!!"

Um... Bush didn't cause Hurricane Katrina. In fact, the governor of Louisiana told the feds and the American Red Cross NOT to come in the day after the hurricane. In cases like this, the federal government can not step in and override what the state has put into place.

But that's not the real reason for this post. In my experience and in my opinion, the Republican party takes on all sorts of different challenges and handles them in a business-like manner. There is no reason why the environment can not be successfully managed in a business-like way! These are goal oriented business men and women who know how to acheive results. They have placed very strict regulations on logging, and you can actually see this in action as you drive through Oregon and Washington. You can see signs that state when an area of trees was harvested, when new trees were planted, and when they can be harvested again.

Just because you are not seeing Conservatives screaming in picket lines doesn't mean that we don't have a heart or have feelings. We too want the planet to thrive. But yelling and screaming won't get it done. Having a sound plan and putting it into action quickly is what we need, and what has been done.

It's like those commercials for registering to vote that we see on TV lately. That could clearly define the difference between the liberals and the conservatives. The libs see garbage on the sidewalk and will stand and complain about how unsightly it is and how could something like that have happened, and the conservative would just quietly walk by, pick it up and throw it away.

I'm seeing no action from the liberals when it comes to conservation and restoration of our resources, but you show me one that doesn't live in a house made of wood and doesn't use water, electricity or gas. In the civilized world, we all use resources. There is nothing wrong with that. But, we have to be smart and give back what we take. And it's not that easy. That action itself needs to be managed properly, or nothing will be done correctly.

If the libs were smart, they would stop all the "save the gay whales" protests and find out what actually needs to be done and DO IT!!!

Bright Lights, Big Dickhead!!

Okay, this is a bit off the subject of the blog, but I have HAD IT!! I'm FED UP!!!

Last night as I was driving home from work, some "dee dee dee" in a huge "sorry about your penis" monster truck got behind me in traffic with his high-beams on.

Now, I drive a normal sized, mid-sized car, so when I get a Forrest Gump behind me in a jacked up truck to make up for the fact that he's hung like a hamster and he's got his brights on, guess what happens? I get blinded. The lights are the same level as my rear view and side view mirrors, so all I see is what I assume an alien invasion would look like.

So, I slow down so that he will hopefully pass me... but the dickhead won't pass me.

I spent 20 minutes stuck in traffic with Bubba behind me and my left hand out my window giving him the one-fingered salute. He even changed lanes with me when I tried to dodge him.

So, this weeks "Clueless" award goes to Mr. Dickhead Highbeam, wherever you are.

Embrace Cultural Diversity

So, this morning I'm sitting here, staring at my computer, wondering what to post about today. Trust me, it's not for lack of material, but more for idiocy overload.

I've decided to talk about how American school teachers are now being tested for "cultural diversity knowledge" because some of the minorities are complaining about being forced to step outside of their own cultural boundaries during the school day to fit into a majority setting.

The ACLU, as well as other rather liberal organizations feel that it's emotionally harmful to the minority kids to have to switch their way of thinking in the classroom and that they should be taught in a way that doesn't force them out of their cultural comfort zones.

What a great big stinking load of crap!!!!

I should have pulled this kind of garbage when I was in grade school. Wouldn't that have been a sight!! "Hey, this isn't how I live at home. Teacher? You need to be yelling at me with a beer in your hand."

Folks, school sets you up for the rest of your life. It gives you the ability to understand the difference between home life and work life. If it wasn't for this type of social learning, we would all be showing up to work in our jammies, scratching and burping around our co-workers... *looking around the office* Okay... somebody needs to go back to grade school and re-learn some things!!!

It's the very same as some of the schools here in Oregon not allowing "cheering" during sports events, because it causes self esteem issues for players who are not as good as others. That's right, kids can't cheer their friends on, or comment on someone making a bad play or bad move. I don't believe I was emotionally scarred for life because someone yelled at me during a basketball game, "Hey Lynn, you suck out loud!!" All that did was make me realize that I suck at playing basketball! Guess what? I also actually FAILED gym class in grade school! My self-esteem is intact and I have moved on. My dreams of playing for the WNBA have been shattered, but I will survive. Oh, wait... that wasn't my dream. Sorry. My bad.

Saddam tells judge to "go to hell".

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Saddam Hussein told the judge overseeing his trial in Iraq to "go to hell" Tuesday and threatened not to return to an "unjust court" when it reconvenes on Wednesday.
After five witnesses gave horrific testimony of torture allegedly overseen by Saddam -- there are two more witnesses to hear from this week before the Dec. 15 election in Iraq -- court was preparing to adjourn for the day when the deposed dictator jumped to his feet and complained that the court was "deliberately hauling defendants before the trial when they are exhausted."
He complained that he had no fresh clothes, and that he had been deprived of shower and exercise facilities.

"This is terrorism," he said.

Chief Judge Amin cut him off, saying proceedings will resume on Wednesday.
Saddam then told the judge and "all the agents of America" to "go to hell" and said he would not return to court.

Okay, I'm not sure where to start with this.

Why is he being allowed to say ANYTHING? He is being accused of attrocities that can only be compared to things that Hitler and Stalin did, and he's bitching that he's not being allowed to take a shower? Let's all call him a WA-A-A-A-Ambulance!

Let's see... what would my response be if I were the Judge? I think it would go something like this...

Saddam: Hey, all you agents of America can go to hell!!

Me: BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! click click click... "How do I reload this thing?"

Happy "Winter Season Holiday".

Do you remember a time when you could walk into a department store and hear "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" Muzak playing?

Remember when you were in grade school and how badly you wanted to play one of the three wise men in the school Christmas play, just to end up playing a lamb in the manger?

Remember back when schools HAD a Christmas play?

What about when you were a kid and it was totally okay with you that Christmas was all about the birth of Jesus Christ AND about the jolly St. Nick?

I used to have a friend when I was a child. He was Jewish. Every year as we walked out of the school to start our Christmas break he would say to me, "Merry Christmas, Lynn!" and I would say, "Happy Hannukah, Alan!" and that was completely okay with us. We knew that Christmas and Hannukah happened around the same time, but they were totally different holidays.

Now things are totally different. We don't have Christmas any more. The birth of Jesus Christ has been pushed aside because some people do not celebrate the holiday. I'd like to know where in the Wide World of Sports this is supposed to make sense. 85 percent of the citizens of this country are Christian. So, 85 percent of us are having to wish people "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings", unless you have a friend who celebrates Hannukah or Kwaanza, then you can actually use the proper holiday name. This makes about as much sense as taking away my cold medication because as a 43 year-old working adult, I might use it to make meth.

If I say Merry Christmas to you and you don't celebrate Christmas, correct me. I'll remember. If you want me to have a good holiday, wish me a Merry Christmas.

Welcome!

Welcome to the Sissification of the Country blog.

I felt that it was about time to start voicing my opinions and thoughts instead of just getting mad about how the country is falling apart. Especially since we can stop this from happening!!

What do I mean by "The Sissification of the Country"?

I mean that as long as we allow the government to make decisions for us, as long as the majority of the citizens of this country have to bow down to the minority, as long as we have our rights stripped from us to give special rights to the few, we will continue this path of becoming a nation of sissies.

The majority of us work for a living.
The majority of us pay taxes.
The majority of us have at least a high school diploma.
The majority of us vote.
The majority of us abide by the local, state and federal laws.
The majority of us have bills to pay.
The majority of us have to live on a budget.
The majority of us take care of ourselves and our families, if there is a family to care for.

If you have read the above statements and felt yourself responding with "No, I don't." ask yourself this question: "Why not"?

Make a list of all the reasons why you aren't doing what's listed above. Study it. Then ask yourself, "Can I work for a living? Can I pay taxes? Can I get my high school diploma? Can I vote? Can I abide by my local, state and federal laws? Can I pay my bills? Can I live on a budget? Can I take care of myself and my family?"

If you answered yes to these questions, then do it! Make it happen!
